大きな屋根で覆われた空間の中は、バナナの木やスポーツ自転車、天井まで届く本棚にいっぱいの本、借りた畑で栽培し採れた雑穀のいろいろな干物、パソコンと向き合う仕事場があり、アフリカの絵画やタペストリー、ハンモックが下がっている。そこは学生が集まりジビエ料理を楽しんだり、ゼミをする場にもなっている。

Dry in the monsoon, the cool concrete floor in summer has turned warm enough in winter for our client to sleep straight on it till early morning. The large tent like roof has a thriving banana tree, jazzy bicycle, tall book-shelves, computers, African tapestry and hammocks. Harvested corn & sesame drying in the entrance veranda, ushers in students for seminars. Though far away geographically, we surely could enjoy a feel of Africa.
