WORK PHILOPSOPHY
Supported by the belief that Man, the place and its surrounding region should all ideally be enriched by any building activity, their works express an overall consciousness of the region and the earth. Local materials and lasting, traditional structural systems are used as a sustainable alternative. Natural bounty and potential of the place is enhanced with bold forms and spaces that extend awareness towards the surrounding landscape. Further, internal and external spaces are designed as one totality so as to create dynamic and invigorating living spaces within a vast regional context. The intention is to make man physically, mentally and spiritually healthy through spaces with recuperative qualities that include a sense of security, of belonging to the place he dwells in.
By using space frames with well-considered openings and intermediary spaces, interiors of natural materials which harmonize with the body, are closely associated with exterior spaces defined by greenery, movement of the sun and breeze over the year. When possible, rainwater or treated sewage water from the interior supports a biotope outdoors. Used water, in the process of enjoying the biotope and garden along with bird, insect and aquatic life, is returned to nature through the surrounding natural environment. Thus, various cyclic processes are enjoyed in tangible ways in everyday life.
